Stewy has been playing trombone for eight years. He is comfortable with all kinds of music but has really developed a love for the big band sound. He looks forward to rehearsing, learning, performing, and growing musically alongside the other talented musicians of the Jazz Ensemble.

Ryan has belonged to Tri-M Music Society for three years. He is always delighted to visit elementary and middle schools to promote music instruction and introduce young kids to the trombone. He takes pride in performing with other young musicians at local retirement homes and accompanies the St. Michael’s Adult Choir every Sunday.

Ryan’s advice for young musicians: “Stick with it – everyone sucks at first.”
